We all know that the most important feature of any bra is the fit, and yet many women go through life wearing the wrong back size, wrong cup size, or both. We also know that many products size differently so that you might be a 34D in one brand and a 36C in another.

There are two key elements to accurate measuring - BAND SIZE and CUP SIZE.
重要なのは、アンダーとトップのサイズ




For your band size grab a tape measure, and measure in centimetres or inches right around your torso, placing the measure just under your bust at the front and making sure the tape measure is flat and straight across your back. Pull the tape measure tight to ensure an accurate measurement. メジャーが水平に、まっすぐなるようにアンダーのサイズをセンチメートルで測ります。		For your cup size repeat the measurement but this time measure across the fullest part of your breasts at the front. And this time, make sure the tape measure is very loose. In fact, when the tape measure slips off the bust this is the figure you require. テープがゆるくなるぐらいでトップバストを測ります。

　　5.　実際にアンダーと、トップのサイズをメジャーで測って、入力したら、プルダウンメニューの単位を　inchesからcentimetersに両方ともかえます。　この時、注意してほしいのは、アンダーのサイズは、今つけているブラジャーのバンドサイズ（５ｃｍ区切り）ではなくて、実際のサイズを1ｃｍ単位で入力してください。

How will I know if it's right?
So you've measured yourself and ordered your size. When that bra pops through the door, how can you be sure it's a perfect fit? Firstly, make sure you've put it on properly. Lean forward when putting on the bra so the breasts fall into the cups and adjust the bra straps until you feel comfortable. Now stand in front of the mirror and have a good look. Can you see any clues shown on the bad fitting example below? Or is it a perfect fit, like our great fitting example?.

悪いブラ
１.肩にストラップが食い込む（アンダーサイズを小さくする）
２．胸がブラからこぼれる（カップサイズ　アップ）
3.背中のベルトがずり上がってしまう（大きすぎ）
4.フロントのセンターが浮いてしまう（アンダー　ダウン）

良いブラ
1.胸がカップにきれいに収まる
2.ブラのフロント部分が、体にフィットしている
3.しっかりとホールドしていながら、きつくなく、ブラのあとも残らない。

　　6.　ページ一番上の左側の数字とアルファベットが、あなたのＵＳブラサイズです。　この例では、バンドサイズ（アンダー）32のＡＡカップになります。　

　【トリビア】バンドサイズ32といっても、32インチではありません。32インチは、およそ81ｃｍで、実際は、（32-５）Ｘ2.54＝68.5だと思います。　バンドサイズに対して、トップバスはそのままインチで表して、その差が、1なら、Ａカップ、2ならＢカップと計算します。１インチは約2.54ｃｍですから、これで、日本でブラのカップを決める時にトップとアンダーの差が12.5ｃｍだとか、2.5ｃｍ区切りなんて半端な数字が規格になっている理由がお分かりですか。
